How to adjust headlights

I have a 1999 mitsubishi eclipse 4 cyl 2.0L non turbo.

I know where to adjust my lights at, i am just not exactly sure which nob to twist and i don't want to break anything. I know it needs adjusted because the level on my car is way off, and my headlights shine to the top of the trees.

i just want to lower it a little till i can take it up to my school and use a headlight aimer.
