Engine Oil

Hi there,

I have a newer model 1993 Galant SE and has a non turbo 4G63 engine. It has done over 230000km and is due for a general service what sort of engine oil should i use since its got a few km's on it. and is it worth buying a good brand oil filter as opposed to an el cheapo?

in our experience, just use any brand name sf/sg rated motor oil but do add lucas oil stabilizer to the engine per the lucas instructions. it is a phenominal product
