I drive a 91 model eclipse with just over 100,000 miles on it. It's a manual transmition. My car was operating perfectly fine yesterday morning. Then when I drove it home, the exhaust was thick and pungent smelling, and the engine nearly died every time I stopped or slowed to turn, etc. What could possibly be the problem?
