Car won't come out of park.

I have a 1996 Mistubishi Galant with about 150,000 miles and a 4 cindler, I put the car in park and when i went to take it out of park, it will not move. It won't come out of park.

try steping on break pedel real hard. if that does not work may need shift inter lock ajustment or cable needs replacement
