Can't loosen bolt

2000 Mitsubishi Mirage, 120,000 miles, 1.8 engine. Can't loosen the crank shaft pulley bolt to change the timing belt. I have tried using a 1/2" electric impact wrench rated at 250lbs. I also tried holding the pulley with a large pry bar and using a socket with an extended handle for more torque. I end-up bending the pry bar. Does this car have a reverse thread on that bolt?? Any suggestions.
