no real clue what engine is in this thing, 4g63 i belive
i've been taking it to shops trying to get my car back that i need to get to work, right now i'm using my dads car. :cry:
160,000 miles, ran good, though it could use a good cleaning engine wise.
I've been told many times to get an entirely new engine. I don't really want to. wishful thinking implys i can just pop the top and put them in given the right tools. maybe i could hone out any damge on the walls.
replace all the vavles and springs retaners.
basically i'm looking for some help finding an engine i want to put in this vehicle for a good price or some how fix this one for less then a new engine.. Or the best deal for scrap metal....I like my talon, but my dad doesn't see it my way. he's already spent $3000 on the thing i don't blame him. 2 for the car and 1 to get it street worthy. here in VA that got me 4 tires and an inspection sticker...then the timing belt broke.
