Bad oil pressure after engine flush.

Hey kaliman,
The only sure fire way to know if its a definite oil pressure issue is to attach an oil pressure gauge and see! At idle, with the gauge attached, verify if its either in or out of spec, if its in spec then it may be the o/p sender, if its out of spec then its a crapshoot. A thicker viscosity oil may or may not cure this, oip pump replacement may be necessary. Does the upper end of the engine start to "tick tick" at idle?
This would indicate a definite oil pressure issue. Let us know!

There's definitely hydraulic pusher noise, in more than one of them (supose those are the tick ticks that you mentioned).

Assumming the o/p sensor was fine just before the flush, 'cause the light wasn't blinking at all.

Everything seemed to be OK just before the "preventive operation".

I was thinking: "If there's an accumulation of cutted sludge in the lubrication conducts, maybe I should keep flushing untill everything is gone".

What you think Chris?

Its very likely this was the root cause of your problem (sludge broken loose). I really wouldn't use any more of the flushing product as you may start to cause some serious damage to the engine! I would have to recommend a higher viscosity quality oil and maybe increase the oil change frequency ie:3 changes @ 1k intervals and see how it goes. Ya know another possibility is the oil pump pickup screen is also clogged w/ junk too. Oil pan gasket sets are pretty cheap and it may be worth your while to take a peak and inspect/clean it and the oil pan too.
