airbag light is always on

my airbag light is always on. some of my friend said becoz it is 10 year old i may have to reset some switch. is this true? or there can be any other problems? how much cost it take to fix it?

If the airbag light is on then there is a problem with the airbag system. There is most probably and open wire or defective sensor with in the airbag circuit. A word of caution if you are going to work on this yourself. Be carful you don't accidently set off the air bags. Good luck :)
