98 Mitsubish Eclipse RS motor question

I have Some compression in the 3rd and 4th cylinder but not very much,but it also smokes while in idel for a long period of time,would that be my block instead of just the head? "[[b:3762a6cbcc]u]2.0 DOHC Non turbo[/b:3762a6cbcc][/u]"

forthe compression on the 3rd and 4th cylinder you most likely need to check the valve springs and what not. either that or it might be you need a new cam. as for the smoking while in idle im not sure. it could be several things. now if sd and van read this please start answering the questions. I'm not the best mech on here and i dont want to steer ppl wrong. so please stop your bickering at each other and start helping others please.
