97 eclipse GSX

I was drivin to work today and i was just turning from a stop. When i hit the gas white alot of white smoke came from under my hood. When i pull to park i looked under the hood oil was everywhere and i could see a line of oil from where the car was to where i parked. i didnt hear no pop, rapping, or anything. I was wondering what it all could be. I am guess its bad. Thank you very much.

Hi there,

clean the engine down as best you can, top up oil, check the oil filter has not come loose, and the oil filler cap has not come off. Start the engine, But shut it down if it is making any unusual noises. If it will run quickly check around and under engine as best you can to see any oil leaks, hopefully the oil filter has come loose, report your findings for further information as what to do.

Yeah thanks thats what it was. One of the seals was ripped. So now she is back to normal thank you for the scoop.
