I am reinstalling a transmission for this car. There is a connector behind the intake manifold(the bracket is attatched to it) that has a one red wire and a black wire with a white stripe. These wires are spliced in to a single black wire that goes to a component that looks like a knock sensor.
My problem is that I have no unplugged connectors left that would fit this connector. I looked on alldata and I can't find a wiring diagram for the knock sensor circuit; I can't find any connector that matches this wire color; there is no mention in alldata about the ECM terminals for the knock sensor; and there is no r&r procedure for the knock sensor on the 2.4l engine.
I don't know what plugs into this connector, and I don't want to button up the job without knowing what that connector is. Any guidance will be appreciated. Thanks.
