1994 Other Mitsubishi Models Engine will turn over but won't

I have a 1994 Mitsubishi Mirage. I was driving it to work. It was running fine. Out of the blue the engine shut off. When i tried to start it it would crank but will not start. Any advice on what the problem could be?

Check if the timing belt had snapped or lost some teeth.
