my vehicle is leaking water on the passenger side, under dashboard. can a drain valve be clogged, if so, how can I access it to drain the valve.?

You said the drain is outside the firewall......Just where is the drain on a 02 Montero XLS? I've been working cars for 38 years and can find no drain outside the firewall on this vehicle.
