Electrical problem
1999 Mitsubishi Montero 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

when i installed my alternator I heard a pop. now i have no dome light no brake lights no radio and when i put the car in drive the N as in neutral is flashing and the check engien light is on. then when i put it in gear its really rough. what is the problem with my car?

Hi there,

First thing to do is get a scan done to read the set fault codes, you did not flash the electrics by accident did you?

I know that I forgot to unhook my battery cabels when i installed the alternator

With out the code i cant tell what the problem is, but just first off, check all fuses & fusible links, id dose sound like you may have flashed the electrics, check this first.
