i replaced the battery and altinator .now when i run the car it just shuts down until i jump it . some times it stays running for a few minutes then shuts off again or shuts off as soon as i take oof the jumper cables !!!! Give me back my 64 falcon thanks

I think you have some kind of grounding issues, you will need to check the connections from the battery to the alternator to the starter, and make sure everything is tight, and then retest the battery and alternator. because you just bought them does not mean they are good!!!!
