I had my timing belt replaced recently. After the work was done, when the car was started, it would shake in the lower gears. Once it gets going, it smooths out but if I am at a red light, it shakes. I took it somewhere and their hunch is a head and valve job (possibly a bent valve). Does this sound right, and if so, what should be the cost?

Hi there,

Get a compression test done first this will prove one way or the other if you have a valve problem, do this first then we can look at the best action when we know where we stand .
