The socket itself could be fried. Try replacing the accessory socket. I blew both my cigarette lighter and accessory socket last year. I went to the junkyard to get a replacement assembly, installed it, and replaced the fuse. Only after I did all that, did I successfully fix it. I can give you instructions on how to remove and install the piece if you pm me.
