2003 Mitsubishi Galant heater will not work anymore.HELP ME

I've changed my thermostat and also checked 2 times to see if I put it in backwards and I still can't find out why my heater will not work. what can it be?

When you say the heater don't work-do you meant the blower motor doesn't come on.

it blows air, but the air is cold. it used to sound like a vent opening and closing in the past but not anymore.now it will not defrost my windshield.

You need to open it up and inspect the air/blend/ mode doors, vacuum hoses and actuators
