My driver side power window will not go up or down. I hear the window motor running and can raise and lower the window by pulling up on it. What do you think is wrong?

the window lift mechanism if stripped or broken. another possibility is the window has come undone from the lift mechanism. remove the door panel and see whats going on? make your repairs as needed
