2001 Mitsubishi Galant Leak under dash board

Hi,

We have had 3 very hot days 90 degrees and above. I have water sporadically coming out of passenger side under dash board. I do not know if the drain is plugged. I cannot located the drain. Do you know where it is or what kind of problem would cause this?

It is condensation water.

Hi pam,

Look for a rubber hose coming out of the firewall in the engine compartment at passenger side. It should be a cut off type or with a spout.

Squeeze it and see if water rushes out. try not to pull it out as you might have difficulty refitting it.

Any water into the vehicle over a period of time is just like a time bomb.

It could corrode electrical connections, blow out electronic items.
