My son's Mitsubishi Galant is giving him some problems. The engine starts easily and then dies. This goes on for a minute of so. The engine finally starts and the car runs fine. Now he is having trouble keeping it running. It sounds as if the fuel pump is going out. Can you give me some advice on replacing the pump or any other diagnostics? could it be as simple as a fuel filter. If so, is there a filter in the line or is it on the pump? Many thanks.
