water is draining into the drivers side floor board from the air conditioner. It has been in the shop twice and had the hoses cleaned out and "something" was sealed but its still leaking a lot! What else could it be? There are puddles in the floor and it appears to be coming from behind the gas peddle somewhere.

Hi, I have the exact same problem on my 2000 Mitsubishi eclipse. How did you fix the leak caused by the AC? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think your problem is a leaking heater core. Get a new one not a repaired unit. Mine leaked in the same place last winter. If it was the evaporator it would not blow cold air.

Hi, thanks for your suggestion. I haven't exactly figured out the problem yet, but I took out the carpet yesterday and noticed that when the air conditioner is on, there is a seam from two metal pieces of the body of the car immediately to the right of the gas pedal that water is seeping out from. I took the oil stick and pushed it into the air conditioner drain near the engine of the car and the water is seeping out much less, but it still leaks a bit so I'm guessing that I didn't fully unclog the AC drain. I'm going to bring the car to a mechanic this week and have them use pressurized air to blow out the AC drain tube and hopefully that will fix the problem.

Yep, it sounds like you have a clog. Here is a video that will show you how to unclog it: Not vehicle specific, but they are all very similar in design

Please run down this guide and report back.
