2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

check engine light on- reading said need egr valve replaced-- replaced
Question: will light go out when cycle completes next time or should i reset it?

I would clear the codes. That way if there is a problem, it will set fresh codews and you will know that they are new instead of leftovers
