Stuck In First Or Second Gear

Had a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse for about 6 months now and it has 121,000 miles on it drove wonderful until the other day i stopped at a red light and took off then i noticed at 40 mph the motor sounded like it was high RPM up so i realized the gears was stuck will not change at all .(HELP)

Hello this happens when the transmission turbine speed sensor goes out here is a diagrams to help you see how to replace it.


Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
