I have a Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 2.0 dual over head cam. I have had to hook jump wires up to cooling fans so I can turn them on and off so I know they work. My problem is not knowing what tells the fans to turn on, maybe a sensor and or a relay? I have looked this up in Chiltons but does not specify why or what operates the fans, Please help.
