Recently when accelerating on the highway, my check engine light went on. When at a stop, my idle runs rough going from 1000 rpm to 600 rpm, but the car does not stall. When starting from a stop it runs rough at lower rpms but seems to run fine once the rpms are above 1500-2000.
Also, at highway speeds as long as I am at a constant speed or accerating at a contant speed the engine runs fine. However, when I decelerate and then accelerate, I get the hesitation again and the engine runs rough.
Any ideas what could be the problem is?
