My battery, engine and brake light all lit up on the dashboard last night. The brake was off, and the car started with no problem. Why are all the lights on?

check fuses
check charging system and suspect bad alternator

you were right on the money..took it to Advanced Auto Parts and its the alternator..but its my fourth rebuilt..something must be wrong that it keeps going bad

check the battery and make sure it is big enough for what you have

and the alternator isn’t working over time to keep the battery up
try a different brand
