Good Day,
I have a 1978 Fiat X19 with UNO turbo motor , I was fitting a new Sebring 3bar external electrical fuel pump , and mistakenly connected the positive wire to the car body and earth wire to power.
When I turned the ignition everything went dead ,no ignition no dash lights ,no starter.i checked all fuses found nothing blown , I noticed the interior light coming on slowly , when door is open but when I turn ignition or press hooter the light goes off.
I also noticed that there is no power from battery to starter .i used a test light on battery and noticed neg terminal is giving power wen touched to body not the positive one .the car battery is fine .
Please help
