One day I was driving my car with no issues, the next day the engine was rattling and misfiring within 10 seconds of startup. Gave me the codes P0316, P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P2195 and P2196. Was suggested that I change the spark plugs and wires due to age, I did that. The car sounded a little better, but still misfired. New Codes P0301 P0300 P0303 P2195.

Not sure where to go next!!

Good morning,

I would start with a test on the fuel pressure to be sure the fuel pump is good.

I would also check the compression to be sure there is no internal issue with the motor.

I would start there. Most likely it is the fuel pump as that is a common failure for misfires.

Hi Roy,

I appreciate the quick response! I am new to cars (this is my first car) and unfortunately do not have any special tools. Do you have any low-tech solutions?

Thanks!

You can rent a tester for the fuel pressure and the compression at the parts store. They will come with instructions on how to use them.
