My car has been misfiring when idle or driving but i changed the crankshaft sensor and now it doesn’t misfire when idle but only when driving. I used a scanner and it showed 2 codes which were P1505 and P1507.

Hi,

This model Hyundai isn't offered in the US, but I suspect the codes are the same with other 2004 Hyundai vehicles. So, I attached diagnostics for both codes below. The diagnostics came from a 2004 Hyundai Accent, which is offered in the US.

The codes are related to the idle air control circuit. I don't know if that is where you are seeing problems. Take a look at the diagnostics and let me know if they help.

I hope this helps. Let me know.

Yes, thanks for that. I was able to fix the idle air controller and now the scanner only reads one code which is P1507 (idle speed control actuator.)

Hi,

That indicates the coil driver has a short to either power or ground. The same diagnostics apply with this code as I attached above.

This appears to be an electrical issue, so make sure the wiring is in good condition and the connector is as well.

Let me know.
