how to switch the temperature display in the Mini Message Center from Fahrenheit to Celsius

If you have the three buttons at the bottom of the message center it can do a re-configured using these. check your owners manual, if not and it is a base model you will probably have to get a dealer to do it with the IDS as this will access central configuration and they should be able to do it this way.

I am in Australia, so I need to find somebody with the IDS tool suitable for a USA made vehicle.

You Ford dealer will use an ids that is compatible. I work at a rural Ford dealer in Victoria and I am sure that the standard ids should do the job give them a ring just to make sure that they can do it.

Looks as if you will have to head off to Adelaide to get this done. i doubt that a general scanner will do this option, best ring a few dealers first and make sure that you do not waste a trip first.

I have been working on finding someone with the right IDS tool and willing to have a crack at it.

Do you know if the application Forscan can get access to instrument cluster programming?

i am not sure, i have not used it before. if you have someone with it nearby it may be worth asking them if they are happy to give it a try, if it links up it will be a simple fix.
