Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2004 Mini Cooper 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I am trying to replace driver axle.I am at the point of pulling shaft out of the trany. I think it's supposed to pop out, but I can't get it to come out. Can you please give me some ideas on how I can get the axle out.

I got it out had to pull a lot harder then expected

With large screwdriver or better a pry bar put between CV housing and trans then give it a BIG pop out it will come

If you are still trying to get it out i would recomment using 2 prybars, that axle is difficult to get out, apply even force on both pry bars this will increase you chances and it will pop out.
