I am getting a very bad grinding/scraping noise from the front right wheel. It's definitely paired with the wheel rotation. Seems worse when turning wheel either direction.
What's throwing me, is that when the car is jacked up and wheel on or off, it's totally quiet. So it makes it very difficult to diagnose (for me).
So that rules out the brakes, but possibly wheel bearing (though i would think that would make noise or be very loose even jacked up?) or CV shaft? Why it only does it with all the weight on the suspension is baffling me. I even tried to load the suspension with a jack while car was on the lift, made no difference. Thanks!
