I would like to know how can I if my timing chain is gone? or if my fuel pump is bad?

You don't have a timing chain, rather a timing belt.
Rather than describing to you what happens if the timing belt breaks or fuel pump goes bad, why don't you describe (in detail) the problem that you are having, and we'll try to pin-point the cause.

I see no response, but I picked up an old Villager and I really like it and am looking for a late model Villager. Is that a good buy in your opinion?

Yep, they are good vehicles, how many miles are on it? Does it run; the good news is the engine is a non-interference so the timing belt can be replaced when it goes out no problem. Here are the instructions and timing belt marks in the images below. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
