Hey thanks for the post. I took the car to the shop and we discovered that there was some water damage. We are wondering about damage concerning the spark plugs and the distributor, however, the possibility for damage to other areas is still there.
I'm wondering, first, how long you think it would take to fix and also the extent of the possible damage. We believe that the car has been driven more than 600 miles since the incident that caused the damage and the car has never died, only stalled. Also, how much does this type of damage cost on average?

Hi yes my holidays were very nice, I hope yours were as well. It sounds like it the problem could have been water in the ignition system and now it has dried out. To help stop this problem, replace tune up components with new Motorcraft parts.
