1999 Mercury Villager alternator

CAUTION: When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle.

Removal & Installation
Disconnect negative battery cable.
Raise and support vehicle.
Remove engine splash shield.
Remove generator adjuster bolt.
Remove 2 generator mounting bolts and support generator.
Rotate generator to access electrical connections.
Disconnect electrical connections and remove generator from vehicle.
To install, reverse removal procedure.
Tighten fasteners to specification
