Shakes or Wobbles problem
1998 Mercury Villager 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
hi, my mini van has just had a major tune up as well as an oil change. it also has 4 brand new tires, but the motor vibrates and really wobbles the minute i put it into gear. it idles just fine, the service engine light stays on during normal driviing and begins to blink when driving at a higher speed. it also worsens when i turn on the air conditioner. the conditioner blows very cool air but the engine wobbling is increased when it is on. the compressor and belt is good. i have also recently changed all four motor mounts and have rechecked them to make sure they stayed secure. all is well. i had it scanned and they told me the code indicated i just needed a tune up, i did but to no avail. the transmisssion fluid seems to be good no discoloration or burnt smell. any suggestions would be very much appreciated. i am at my wits end. i am a single mother of 5 daughters and am trying to go and pick up my grandaughter about 900 away to spend the summer with us. i do not want to chance driving my van in this condition. PLEASE HELP! Thank you. LVReyna
