Engine has slight misfire, which gets louder as your go faster, but not abnormally loud. Fuel injectors are suspect, but it was accelerating fine before fuel injector cleaning with intermittent CEL. After cleaning, accelerated a bit better as well. Now, I have permanent CEL. I can't pull codes, b/c I don't have the right pinout for use with test leads on my neighbors professional scan tool.
Car won't accelerate past 2500 rpm even when floored. Runs rough as well during initial idling on startup. Idle set very high to prevent problems with stalling on startup (eventually levels out around 900 RPM in a minute). I replaced oxygen sensor with universal type. Throttle body cleaned and EGR Valve cleaned a week ago. Replaced throttle position sensor as well.
A few months ago:
Rough idle problem causing stalling on cold mornings.
**** Mechanic performed
MOTORVAC FUEL INJECTOR TREATMENT and VACUUM TESTING
No vacuum leaks found.
No codes found.
No other problems mentioned besides fuel injectors probably b/c they read the common problems with this car and didn't know what else to blame.

Tested fuel injectors on front that are reachable and found similar response (SLIGHT DROP IN RPM) when pulling power to each; one at a time. Assuming if fuel injector problem, it would have to be one or more of the inaccessible fuel injectors towards cowl under Plenum.
