Speedometer at first fluttered, then stopped working along with odometer. I put in a new speedometer cable. The odometer now works. the speedmeter barely moves and clicking noise is heard. what is the problem.

Hi there,

The speedo head has failed, this will be cheaper to replace with a second hand unit than get repaired.
