I have a 1995 Mercury Tracer. Saturday the charging system warning light came on and stayed on. The car seems to start o.k. but as a precausion I turned off all accessories and drove it home. I'm thinking that it might be the alternator, but was wondering if anything else could be causing it. I had the car serviced the week before and they checked the battery and it was good. Any thoughts?
