Noises problem
1991 Mercury Topaz 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 225,000 km's
i have a 1991 mercury topaz 4 cyl. I recently changed the alternator belt, battery, and valve cover gasket. When i turn the engine on and driving down the highway it has a fairly loud squeel which comes on every 5 minutes. My dad suggests its the alternator and it needs to be replaced. Any sugestions?
