Erratic starting

1992 Sable, 3.0. Engine starting erratically. Always turns over, but does not always fire. Happens mainly in cold. When it does start, it often dies shortly after starting (periodically). It then has to be towed back and let to sit. Will start again when it feels like it. Fuel pump pressure checked okay. Spark checked in plugs and is okay. No error codes pulled up in diagnostic, none recorded.
