How do you check the charging system thats what my car says. It Would not start one day and I jumped it, It started then went a few blocks and stalled could it be the alternator or battery I am not sure what the chargiong system is any answers you could give would be a help

Your charging system consists of the battery cables, alternator and battery. If you jumped the battery and it ran for a few minutes then died again this will point to a faulty alternator. You can have the alt. and battery tested at most local auto part stores free of charge.
