I have a 2003 Mercury Sable tonight it acted as if it would not move forward up a small incline in the middle of town.We got it out of the road and towed home.
The car starts in park or neutral but when i shift into reverse or Drive or 1st the motor just rev's .the reverse lights come on and the car is stable in park (will not move ) we checked the fluid it was fine we added a lhalf quart to see if it would help.
has anyone had this problem i think its the same a Taurus .Recently we have had vandalizm problems a person has been attacking my vehicles mostly scratches on the paint does anyone think that someone cut a cable or is this a normal malfunction.
