2002 Mercury Sable Blower Motor

The blower motor on my Sable (51000 miles) made a sort of fluttering noise then stopped working.
Any help on how to repair?

The blower fan for interior climate temperature control is either under the dash inside on the passenger side glove box or on the firewall,same side in the engine compartment.
