Transmission problem
2001 Mercury Sable 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive 85000 miles
My 2001 Sable transmission has just started leaking out of the weep hole if in deed there is one provided. It is to the rear of the torque converter cover and unthreaded. The transmission passes the slipage test in both foreward and reverse and in all shifting ranges. This problem just appeared with no leed in indications. I'm going for a filter and fluid change first . I'd appreciate any further information that you can suggest. THANK YOU LES !
