Transmission problem
2000 Mercury Sable 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic
My Sable code, PO741 comes on after driving about 5-8 miles.
When it does, the rpms go up about 200-400.
I had asked earlier, but gave you said I gave you generic info, I now had a mechanic do it as a favor.
The code has something to do with the tourque convertor, ?
You gave me a list of what some issues might be related with it, but Advance said the check engine light had to be on before they could read it, you said that they are dumber than I am, which doesn't take much, as you know.
You could tell by my questions, I was frustrated, but you really tried.
I am scared to death, as I am retired, and on a small pension.
You probably hear that a lot.
