I was driving to the air port to pick up my daughter was driving for about a hour and a half when all the sudden I started to loose power. I costed to the shoulder turned the engein off and then started it again and it ran fine. This lasted for about 30 min and it did it again. This time I was on a brige so I just put the car in nuetral shut it off and then restarted it and it did fine. Happened about 4 more time on the way home. I changed the fuel filter and it is still doing it. I feel its the fuel pump but was wanting your advice before I drop the tank. Thank you.

If it starts right back up, I feel it may be ignition related. Has the check engine light come on?

The check engein light never comes on. It just slowley looses power I was doing 70 and it just slowly started slowing down. No light cam on or anything. And even here at home I can park it let it run it idles great and then all the sudden the rpms start to drop and it dies and I can then start it right back up. And it will run fine for a while and do it again.

Have you checked fuel pump pressure? Have you checked the catalytic converter to make sure it isn't plugging?
