When I press on gas to start driving after coming to a stop (automatic) the car bucks (feels like being hit from behind or like I have tried to shift into drive before coming to a full stop when reversing) before it goes forward. Just started suddenly, no warning signs beforehand, have checked all car fluids including transmission fluid and all are fine. Oil change last done in August 2010. Brake warning light was on the day before but I had no problems driving and it has blinked on previously over last 5 years for apparently no reason and hasn't come on since. Trying to determine if this is a transmission problem or a brake problem? No smells with it (ie. burning brakes or anything like that).
