The blower motor I am guessing is not working, when I turn on the fan at all, sometimes I can hear it starting to spin but then it stops. I can hear the a/c kicking on when I use the a/c setting but no air is moving from the vents, I got the car used and I'm pretty sure there was a rat living in it at some point. any advice on what to do would help me out, I don't know where the blower motor is exactly so I couldn't figure this one out on my own thanks.

hello and thanks for donating

your vehicle's blower motor is actually located behind the passenger side dash. if the fan is starting to spin then stops then most likely the blower motor is shot, since it is getting power. would you like replacement steps for the blower motor?

Thanks for your help, but I found out that when I took it all apart that the rat had made a nest in there and thats why the wheel wasn't spinning, why the fuse didn't blow is beyond me. but the vacuum line coming into the firewall creating suction for the control knob is cut somewhere, and I don't want to rip the dash apart, is there some way I can run a new line?

you would have to disconnect the vacuum line at both connections and attach the new line back to both connections

after it comes from the intake manifold, the line goes into this distribution block on the passenger side then there is a line that goes down towards the wheel well, but it chewed off. do you know what that is supposed to be going to? and the other line goes into the firewall right by the heater core, but isn't there another distrubution block somewhere after the firewall?

the vacuum resevoir should be under the hood, near the firewall, i'm not certain of its exact location though. just cut a piece off of the vacuum hose that has already broken and use that same size
